The Kitchen Pass is our exclusive four seat counter directly overlooking the Kitchen.
Kitchen Pass diners purchase their seat for the evening, and while being served a multiple course menu, get a front row seat to the kitchen operations and interaction with the Chefs. There are a total of 4 seats, but they can be purchased individually.
As a Kitchen Pass diner, you join us for an adventurous culinary ride – but this is not for the faint of heart. Subject to any dietary restrictions, our Chefs will ‘feed you’ from an exclusively created and bold multiple-course menu. Most of the dishes served at the Kitchen Pass are not available within the main restaurant.
Kitchen Pass dining starts at 6.30 pm in order to allow sufficient time to enjoy the multiple courses.
Since it is a unique and specifically created menu, we do require 48 hours’ notice of any specific allergies or dietary restrictions. This includes, but is not limited to, restrictions such as Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian, Vegan, no shellfish or specific meat etc. Without 48 hours’ notice, we may not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions within a Kitchen Pass menu.
$105 per person plus taxes and gratuity (food only–beverages are additional).

As the Kitchen Pass menu is specifically tailored to each diner, if you need to cancel your reservation with less than 48 hours’ notice, we will charge a cancellation fee of $50 per seat.
The Chef’s Library is our lovely secluded dining area located on our second floor (only accessible by stairs) that can accommodate up to 26 guests.
For the exclusive use of our Chef’s Library for private parties or functions, we offer a sliding scale stand-alone room hire fee. For parties or functions of more than 26 guests, it may also be possible to hire the entire restaurant.
A group of 12 or more guests is considered a function at Common Lot and as such, we only offer set multi-course menus on a fixed cost per head basis, exclusive of tax and gratuity. Function reservations will require the completion of a Function Agreement and a single point of payment.
